Onion processing process

The onion powder production line includes onion peeling and head removing machine, onion washing machine, onion dewatering machine, onion slicer and onion multilayer dryer, onion milling machine. After processing, we can obtain onion powder and pack and store this onion powder to facilitate subsequent transportation and storage.

Onion peeling and head removing machine: Onions are very easy to scratch and will deteriorate quickly, and wearing out the peeler will increase the problem. The updated machine blows away the onion skin without making surgical incisions and cutting ends on the onion skin. Onions are not handled manually, and gentle handling significantly reduces spoilage. The production capacity of the onion peeling machine is about 1 ton per hour.

The machine has low processing cost and high processing efficiency, perfect peeling quality,easy to clean and disinfect, simple design, easy to use, using food-grade 304 stainless steel chain automatic feeder. Instead of artificially processed onions, it is labor-saving and healthy.

Onion slicing machine: Cut the onion into even slices. The thickness of the slices should be 1.5-2mm. The onion slices processed by this high-efficiency onion slicer have standard product specifications with uniform thickness and uniform size, which has a good effect on the later drying process. This uniform onion slice can keep the time and effect of the drying process under the same conditions, so the overall drying effect will also be very high, which meets the processing standards of large-scale enterprises in the drying of onion slices.

Onion washing machine: Wash off impurities, rinse off the onion film, remove debris to prevent yellowish-brown during drying. The whole is made of stainless steel. Through the effect of water circulation, the onion skin will be removed during the initial cleaning of the onion. After the rinsing, the onion will follow the conveying system and enter the next process.

Air dryer (Dehydrator): onion slices can effectively remove water and shorten the drying time before drying after washing. The main purpose is to pre-dehydrate the onion slices before drying. Because the onion slicer uses the principle of water washing and slicing, the moisture content of the onion slices after cutting is super high, plus the water contained in the onion slices. If you don’t go through the preliminary dehydration treatment and directly send it to the drying host, it will cause serious cooking conditions, which will have a huge impact on the quality of the dried onion slices. Therefore, the onion slice dehydration processing equipment is used for preliminary analysis. Dehydration processing is very necessary.

Onion slice dryer: The dryer is the key equipment, which determines the effect and quality of onion slices after processing.
